Question

Heart rate is the measurement of the number of heartbeats per minute. The maximum heart rate is an age -related measurement used for determining the highest number of beast per minute.

Please note that the maximum heart rate can vary greatly from person to person in the same age range, which can be caused by a wide variety of reasons.

The Nes, et al formula for determining the maximum heart rate is defined as:
\(MHR\) \(=\) \(206\) \(-\) \((0.88\) \(\times\) \(age)\)
\(MHR\): the maximum heart rate
\(age\): the age measured in years
The unit for MHR is: \(beats \text{ } per \text{ } minute \text{ } (bpm)\)
