The body fat percentage is the ratio between a person's total body fat and total mass (commonly known as weight).
This calculator uses the 4-site Durnin/Womersley skinfold method to help determine the body fat percentage, however the 4-site Durnin/Womersley skinfold method is known to overestimate the body fat percentage for some people.
Please measure your triceps, biceps, subscapular and suprailiac using a body fat caliper regardless of your gender.
The 4-site Durnin/Womersley formula for body density is used in combination with the Siri equation to determine the body fat percentage, which can be defined as:
\(BFP\): Body fat percentage
\(triceps\): the skin fold measurements of the triceps
\(biceps\): the skinfold measurement of the biceps
\(suprailiac\): the skinfold measurement of the suprailiac
\(subscapular\): the skinfold measurement of the subscapular
\(age\): your age measured in years
The SI unit for BFP is: \(%\)

Use this calculator to determine the body fat percentage of an adult female using metric units.
the skin fold measurements of the triceps
the skinfold measurement of the biceps
the skinfold measurement of the suprailiac
the skinfold measurement of the subscapular
your age measured in years
